Zusammenfassung:

The transport of injected drug molecules within the blood vessel system is simulated using a vascular graph model. This includes aspects of modelling flow and transport processes across the vascular walls into the surrounding tissue and the transport through the interstitial space towards the tumour. In addition, the interaction of the spatial therapeutic distribution with local systems-biological issues is considered. Vascular and tumoral growth models are developed.
